The Tikva Society

The Gan Tikva Society (or Tikva Society as it’s become known) is the newest level of Women’s leadership giving to be established in the Tidewater Jewish community. The Tikva Society includes women giving between $3,600 and $4,999 in their own names to the Federation’s Annual Campaign. The Society was named Gan Tikva (Garden of Hope) because its founders hoped to encourage women who reached that level of giving to become even further engaged in leadership, community building, and philanthropy. A small 14kt Tikva charm (which can be worn on a bracelet or necklace) plants the seed of a future Lion, as each woman who moves from Tikva to Lion will have her Tikva charm soldered onto her Lion pin, thus keeping it with her throughout her philanthropic journey.
