Who says there are no free lunches? Chabad, partnering with the Simon Family JCC, is pleased to announce the launch of Torah Studies, a weekly lunch and learn series at the JCC. They will also explore contemporary issues through a Torah perspective as well as tackling timeless questions in the Jewish tradition.

Pirkei Avot
For over two thousand years, Pirkei Avot, or, Ethics of Our Fathers, has been a basic text on the Jewish approach to character development and personal development as Jews. Each paragraph of Pirkei Avot was authored by a different Rabbi of the Talmud presenting his world view and his message to the generation. Rabbi Haber, who has been teaching Pirkei Avot for almost two decades, will be exploring the life and times that served as the backdrop and impetus for their message. He will then show how it has deep meaning in our lives and society today. No prior knowledge is required.

Topic and class TBA.
